Still Life with Quince Pears, Van Gogh

Still life painted by Vincent van Gogh between the years 1888 and 1889. This is a rare theme in the artist's work, the painting features 14 quinces arranged on a blue cloth with a brown wall background. The details of brightness, color, and above all the brushstrokes make Vincent's authorship immediately recognizable. The painting is currently located in the New Masters Gallery, part of the institution State Art Collections of Dresden, Germany.
